It makes more sense to me that it would be a newcomer who was all swept up in hope and change and thinking she could change the entire culture of the board. Instead she just gave a bunch of cowards an outlet to say hateful things.

Okay although her location is pretty fishy and her actions are fishy as well, I don't think this calls for a witch hunt. We will never know who the real callout author is. Case in point- fakyoucunts.

Mine was in my bio under the contact page - squirrly pointed it out to me via PM and I removed it. And I also sent in my replies to callouts from my knot email so they'd have it that way too. Plus it's been posted on the boards a few times in the past.

Eh, if someone says that, they're dumb because tracing an IP is not that hard if you have the right information. It takes about 90 seconds. And for most of the regs, the site-which-must-not-be-named was a pretty big effing deal.

That one was weird because 1) I doubt baseball stadium employees are allowed to drink on the job, like most of us and 2) it doesn't seem like that bad of a job.

Okay, that was about a year before my time, so I have no idea what that site is referring to.

Ricks - I've been sitting on my feelings about this for quite some time, because I did not want to point fingers at someone if they honestly had nothing to do with it.  I did mention my suspicion to someone who regularly posts on SB to ask their opinion of the poster, since I'm rarely on that board, and I even expressed to them not to say anything in case I was wrong.  I trust this person enough to believe they kept it quiet too.

That being said, since apparently multiple other people independently came to the same conclusions as I did, I don't have a problem sharing that info now.
