Are you upset about turning 30?  I had a harder time with 25 than I did with 30.  And surprisingly, 31 was kind of difficult for me.

This was true for me too.  Also, 40 was easy, 43 was NOT.  In fact we picked our wedding date because it HAD to be before my 43rd b'day.

Is there a significance to 43 for you?

I think a lot of my issues with 25 was cause I felt "behind". All I could think about what that my mom was married and pregnant with me at 25, but I had just started dating my husband and had no idea where it would go... I felt like I was missing something.

I don't know - in some aspects, I don't really care, and in some ways I'm going - WTF I'm getting old.  I think it helps that almost all of my friends are a year or so older than me.  

My bigger concern at the moment is I have nothing to wear to said party

Nothing special about 43, but just saying 43 made me feel old.
Heck, when my mom was 25, I was already 7 and my sister was 3.

It was great!  I ate way too much, drank WAY too much, got a lot of sun and saw a lot of new places.  I was thisclose to bringing a stray dog home from Aruba, but I couldn't figure out how to smuggle it onto the cruise ship.  I wanted to go back into town and get it some food.  It made me sad.  But other than that  great trip.

Oh AND I just found out that BIL's FI wants to ask me to be in the wedding.  Really?  I've met you like 3 times.  H is the best man, and I was hoping there wasnt going to be a courtesy invite.

I can't even imagine.  I just can't even imagine the smell first of all.  And all the people with mobility issues?  They would pretty much be stuck in their room.

I made it through all 11 1/2 pages.  It calms down considerably after page 7 or so, if I remember right.

There was really only 2 things in the UO thread.  MGeitler doesn't even attempt to speak to people who don't speak really good English, and a bunch of people debated the merits of tipping your server .
