I've been amazed how not bothered by the cold I've been out here. I guess there must be some truth to the whole "it's a different kind of cold because it's dry" thing. Normally I haaaaate cold, but it's been as low as 25 and I've been pretty comfortable. It's not the gets-into-your-bones kind of cold I'm used to back east.

Manda, I think there's also a difference when expectations are involved.  Like, in Virginia, you don't *expect* that it's going to be 25, so it hurts more.  But in Utah, you're like "Well, of COURSE it's going to be cold!" so you don't dwell on it as much.

Morning.  It's actually not cold here today.  This weekend was cold, but we've had an extremely mild winter so far.  It's -3C (27F) here right now, with a high of 0C (32F) today.  I'll take it!  I want spring to come soon!

I missed the grammy's last night because I was watching the bodyguard.

I have to disagree with your hypothesis Snips (BTW Hiiiiiii!!!). Expected vs. non-expected cold has never stopped me from bitching. Ever. I lived in NH for two years and I bitched the entire time, lol

Morning! I was disppointed this thread didn't give me eggs and bacon until I saw Manda's new sig pic. HOLY ADORABLE BATMAN.

I haven't watched Once Upon A Time Yet, and I won't get to until Thursday but I must know something. Is Rumplestiltskin (sp?) the Beast to Belle in the new episode? That's how they made it look in the preview I saw and I kinda don't like the idea.

I scraped the top middle of my back somehow and it hurts like hell.

Morning!  We took today off to recover from the race yesterday, so I'm sitting on the couch waiting for H to wake up.  We both have bum knees and my right leg is SUPER tight, but we both finished!  AND I beat H, but only because he hurt himself.  It was a lot of fun (besides injuries, of course) but holy hell was is freezing that morning.  It was really windy, too.  I think both of our faces are wind-burned.

I got my egg/milk/lard delivery today after they messed it up last week. I'm sure you were all waiting on pins and needles to see how it went. Anyway, that was the highlight of my morning.

Our race went well Sunday, except it was freezing and we both hurt our knees. I beat H, but only because he was injured.

Cfas, that's good to know that you think it was done well. I just think it's kinda odd he seems to be so many characters but I guess that's part of the whole thing. I'm sure I'll still enjoy it.

Sweet baby Jesus, it worked.  That was my third try.

Anyways, the race went fairly well yesterday, I beat my goal time of 2:45 by a minute and a half.  I beat H, but only because he got hurt.  We both have bum knees now.
