DH just text me saying the doctor said he might be eligible for gastric bypass.
He needs to lose weight, like 100 pounds, but I'm not completely on board with this yet. I just have a tough time thinking this will solve his food addiction problem.
I don't know. I want to be supportive, but still. He is a 'quick fix' kind-of guy. Not that gastric bypass is a true quick fix, but his 'idea' of a trying to lose weight is cutting out sodas for 2 weeks at work, them coming home and eating junk food then complaining he isn't losing weight.
I feel there has to be something between his version of losing weight and gastric bypass.
Am I a bad wife to think that way? I mean, I do not have a weigh problem like he does, never have, so maybe I just do not understand?
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
