S/O Slow Day Pole

Who is one person you're embarrassed to admit that you find attractive?

Why are you embarrassed about admitting to it?

Re: S/O Slow Day Pole

• Simon Cowell... because he's Simon Cowell.
• Our deprtment director is super hot! He is hotter than George Clooney, to be honest. He is around 42, super nicely built and very well groomed. He is intelligent, funny and very eloquent, which only makes him more attractive. I would not admit this to anyone I know because they woudl think that I have a crash on him, or that I am being unprofessional... he is also gay, but not a feminie type gay... the type you just know is gay.... nothing bad in that, but adds to the reasons why I am embarrased to admit he is attractive to anyone otehr than this board.
• Ryan Reynolds. Because he's super ugly.

Oh wait...

• I have mega-hots for Alex Pettyfer. Except he's like, practically a child - I think. So I pretend I don't know who he is for the most part...

• Conan O'Brien.

I don't think I've ever said that one out loud.

• Kevin James. I don't know that I'm embarrassed about it - it's just that he's not your typical heart-throb kind of guy. He's adorable, though.
• Ok. You're all gonna think I'm nuts, but... well, why spoil the illusion, right?

So. There's this guy in my guild. Please keep in mind I've never, ever met this man. EVER. We talk. A lot. We have the same sense of humor. Like the same things. Link each other cooking recipes, discuss cooking products and cook books. We've debated the merits of various restaurants in town (he does live in my city). He has an AWESOME voice. He's uber sweet and freakin' hilarious.

I'm totally crushing on a man I can't find attractive because I don't actually know what he looks like. Except that he's 6'3" tall and used to do tae kwon do. Or still does, just doesn't have the same trainer.

Yeah.

• Dane Cook ... shame he's such a douchy douche.
Lizzie
• I've always thought Barry Pepper was hot (he's the younger guard on The Green Mile). It's embarrassing because no one else knows who the heck he is, plus he has kind of a weird face and cries like a girl in the movie. I'm weird.

Shelly, I think Conan is attractive too!

• As for stars... Sean Connery. I'm tired of hearing "but he's so OLD!"

Don't worry, your husband will be too one day. He's appreciate it if you could also find him sexy when he gets there.

• Bill Maher. Partially because I know he's objectively not really attractive, partially because he pretty much only dates models, and partially because he's a few years younger than my dad.

Moose, I don't have a problem with his age. It's his belief in hitting women that turns me off.

• Hmmm, I did not know that about Sean Connery. Interesting.

Tom Cruise. Even with all his crazy and the fact that he's at least 4 inches shorter than me, I still can't get over my childhood crush.

Ditto - although his scientology craze scares me

I didn't either until H told me about it recently. I guess an ex-wife of his came out in 2006 with allegations of abuse, and then this quote by him from 1965 was found: "I don't think there is anything particularly wrong about hitting a woman ... If a woman is a bitch, or hysterical, or bloody-minded continually, then I'd do it."

Then more recently he said that there are confrontational women who "want a smack."

It sucks when celebrities I like turn out to be jerkoffs in real life. It totally ruins it for me.

• Matthew Gubler (Spencer Reed) from Criminal Minds. Because he's that nerdy kind of hot.
• Based on the Scotsmen I know, that doesn't surprise me, actually. Not that they'd ever hit a woman, but I could so picture a few of them saying that. :)

• I second Kevin James. He's so damn adorable. I just want to squeeze him.

Taylor Lautner. Because he's 17, and that makes me a borderline chester.

• Michael Phelps.

Embarrassing because I mentioned it here once and everyone was repulsed by his giant ears. I don't care, I'd still hit that.

• Haha brie, I remember a discussion about Michael Phelps on here awhile back, though it must have been a different one. We were basically like, we don't care about his face, there's plenty of other territory to climb. You're not alone. :)

Adam Carolla because he can sometimes look like Frankenstein, but then no one knows who he is anyway.
• I'm late - but I have a thing for Seth Rogan. Like I might jump him if I ever saw him. I think he's adorable.
• Ooooh Seth Rogan. Good call, Holly.

• Yeah, Seth Rogen is great. I've liked him since Freaks or Geeks. He was a sarcastic guy and I loved that.
I think Kevin James is adoreable too. It's funny though, since my FI is pretty darn skinny.
I can't think of any I have *crushes* on right now though. I can't think when I'm on the spot I guess. :)
Night swimming in the ocean= pretty sweet reception!
