Getting to know your hooha

Re: Getting to know your hooha

  • I love TCOYF (btw, you'll like using FAM, totally easy once you get into the swing of things) but was also surprised that the author seems to think most women don't know much about their discharge. Then I remembered a coworker who once thought (at 15!) that you could get pregnant from swimming in a pool with boys. So maybe she's not too far off!
  • I'm so glad to see people reading TCOYF.  =-)
That book is the woman's bible.

Agreed!  Aside from underestimating women's knowledge about their bodies, it's a great book.  Besides, a lot of women really don't know a lot of these things. If your mother didn't teach you and you didn't have a good sex ed program in school, how would you know?
  • yea we learned about the cervical mucus drainage in nursing school sounds disgusting and I wouldn't want to do it.  I knwo my discharges are normal
