Can I be judgy today?

Re: Can I be judgy today?

  • Maybe they're opening a hotel???
  • Random question... but you mentioned they gave the church address... they are having a reception, right? But a tiered wedding really would be the icing on one of the 67 cake dishes.

If I were feeling rather vindictive I'd get together with other people who are of like mind, and we each get them one of the toasters, wrapped in identical paper, with no gift receipt. But that's when I'm not wearing the etiquette hat...

Yes, they are having a reception. There was a separate card for that.

For some reason, I really doubt they're already married. I just don't think they would even think of that.

LMAO! That's hilarious! I can totally see that!

In response to it being exceptable to put a TV on there, thanks for clearing that up. I am still figuring out what's appropriate and not appropriate to request from our guests... besides I guess they could always decline on gifts they feel too much or not necessary. My fi and I already moved in together, so there are some things I bought cheap with the idea I could put the better quality ones on the registry, primarily cooking, and useful household items, since we spent so much just on moving and furnature. I'm thinking there isn't too much more stuff we need, so we'll register for some items, and probubly just request gift cards to BB and Beyond, Target, etc., if anything it would be nice to have honeymoon contributions. Either way I don't want to be too greedy, I'll be appreciative if people just come and show their love and support. I particularly love handmade stuff or crafty things.
  • Is the registry at Kohls? My mom called me the other day asking why we had registered for 3 comforter sets and only 1 bowl but 8 plates. When I went into my registry to check it out all the numbers were wonky and got messed up for at least half the items we had registered for. Maybe it's a computer glitch or something. Although that doesn't explain all the different place settings and towels they registered for.
