Dishwasher- top rack only, but this is only for dildos.  But a vibrator in there and water will get in the battery compartment and next time you use it you might shock the $hit out of yourself.

Cornstarch?  WHAT?  This sexpert says no on that one.

Warm water and anti-bacterial soap is all you need.  The dishwasher thing is pretty nasty.  Hot water or not, I wouldn't want to eat off a plate that shared water with anyone's sex toys.

Hey sexpert, what about ball-gags? Some of them aren't water-tight, and no one wants to suck on a bleach ball. What's the best cleaning method for those?

I think cornstarch for the dildos that are that really rubbery "human-like" material.  Anyone know what I'm talkin' 'bout?   That's what the guy said at the store, anyway.  He seemed like he knew what he was talking about.

Waterproof vibrators are only waterproof to a point.  The force of the water in the dishwasher would be pushing it's limits.  I guess it could be done, but I wouldn't think it is a chance worth taking.

I lurk on this board for over a year and my first discussion is on a vibrator vs. dildo debate.  Well, at least my sexpertise is coming in useful for something.

Doesn't it all just go down the drain anyway.  People wash some really nasty moldy bacteria-ridden things in their dishwasher, no?  Plus, I saw it on an episode of CSI, so it must be the best way.

For ball-gag cleaning, I would say rubbing alcohol or the anti-bacterial soap, rinsed very well.  Or, you could always pour Vodka on it.  Not sure if that would have the same cleansing effect, but it would taste better than the other stuff.
