So as I type this, I am getting ready to address and send my save-the-dates. The envelopes are on the table. My fancy pen is out and ready...
I have about 20 of them (bookmarks I made myself) and I'm only sending them to out of town guests. There's one branch of the family tree that I'm not quite sure about inviting.... my Indiana cousins. Don't get me wrong, they're lovely. In fact if they weren't lovely, I wouldn't have a problem with this. When my mom died last year, they came out in full force for her funeral. One of them even flew out from Germany!
I'm just not that close to most of them. There are two that I send letters and cards to all the time. But as far as all of their daughters (who are a little older than I am), we barely facebook each other. I keep going back and forth with if it would really be a big deal to have 10 more guests (with them, the total comes to 150).....
All I know is once I send out those STDs, it's a done deal. Decisions, decisions.
