Thank you note question

If I invited a couple or family to the wedding, and they send a gift or card signed just one person's name, or two out of the family of four's name, how do I address the thank-you? Do I just address it to those who are on the card, or to everyone in the household that was invited?

If you invited the whole family I'd just thank the whole family.  Mention the names that were signed individually and thank them for coming.
