....finally. It's been out since we lost power during Saturday's ridiculous storm. The modem apparently went. That's pretty minor considering all of the damage the tornado did up here, but I'm glad it's back and working so I'm not missing out on the nightime tun!

Hai! It's been a very traumatic week here in the Krupar/Howerton household. We don't have cable to begin with. Add no internet to that? Me all week = one bored puppy. But, I managed to get my face back into World Without End, which I started, oh maybe a year ago and only got about 180 pages into (the book is 1014 pages). Here's hoping the newly returned internet doesn't derail my reading that book again.

I know what you mean. Not having the interwebs, and more specifically, TK is torture. I remember when we moved here & couldn't get on the wireless before H decided to do the router thing and all. I tried to make it to the library or clubhouse with H's laptop at least once a day. I have a knot and e-mail addiction.

And ya know what, after I received the job offer yesterday and figured out I will move in with my Grandma for the time being, the first thing that popped into my head was the internet. I think I can piggyback on the wireless at her house or I will be at the IL's house a lot. Lol.

And yeah, as for book reading, I haven't done much myself recently b/c of the damn knot. But I love you ladies and you help get me through things, so that is all that matters, right?

I need to find another book to read. I finished Water for Elephants last night. I couldn't put it down.

Missy - When I was working in Cape Cod one summer I used to drive like 10 miles just to go to the library to use their wireless.

Ciara - I would definitely recommend Pillars of the Earth. It's the prequal to World Without End by Ken Follett. They're long, but so great. If you like historical fiction, they're a good read.
