It's been a while since I worked for a photography studio, but I believe the cutoff again is around 18 months.  After that age, most law enforcement agencies can enforce possession and distribution of child porn charges against the photographer and the parents.  I would highly recommend talking to the mother about taking the photos down.

    Best wishes.

Does she even have a freaking clue that when you sign up for an ap on Facebook, like FarmVille or anything, that you give permission to the ap to access all of your Facebook information, even when you're not using the ap? That means friend lists, photos of yours and friends' photos with you tagged, web history, etc. etc. etc. I'm shocked at how little most people know abou Internet privacy.

Was she a real friend or just an aquaintance? I can't believe she would be that niave & stupid.

Bathtime pics are cute if the private parts are covered, but still not meant for fb. I do not like seeing childrens panties either (as a lot put pics of their kids sitting in skirts legs wide open) but that doesn't make me a sicko.

I also see my friends pics n stuff they comment on. Even extremely private it goes much farther than she realises. I hope it bites her in the azz now to be honest, just to teach her a lesson that she obviously needs to learn.

[QUOTE]I don't need to have kids of my own to understand the concept that putting nude pictures of them on the internet is a bad idea. Good grief.

She was just an acquaintence. Her and I dated two brothers in high school, but we never were close, so its funny that she was saying that she "doesn't just let anyone on her facebook", because I'm pretty much as close as you can get to being "just anybody" without being a complete stranger.
  • Nothing is private online. NOTHING. And a lot of people have the stupid notion that pedophiles are easy to spot, that they are all creepy and obvious. NOT TRUE. Most of them are really good at covering that, and appearing normal.
Your former friend is an idiot.
  • When you see friends of friends posts, it's a setting they can also change.  That "of friend" has their settings as friends of friends as opposed to friends only, which is why you can see it, but if it's friends only then only your friends should be able to see it and shouldn't show up on your feed.  Even better, make lists for really private things if you must post them.  (Ok, didn't know FB staff had complete access, but it doesn't surprise me.)
