Its a hard one... My top faves would probably be the money/gift cards I used for boxing day shopping, the EIGHT new stephen king books I got, or the heartrate monitor.

Nebb, I LOVE Stephen King.  It's been so long since I picked up one of his books.  Last one I read was his book on writing.  It was amazing.

The wedding. Due to the fact that it is being paid for, I told my family to please not get us anything for Christmas this year. They are doing way too much already. 

Although my dad did still give me a really sweet pair of yoga pants that I love so those would be my favorite next to the awesome boots that FI gave me.

I got a pair of diamond stud earrings that I love.  I also got a wii and a wii fit.  It was a very good Christmas.

Favorite wrapped gift under the tree:  A Garmin Forerunner 305

Favorite non-wrapped Christmas gift: FBIL/FSIL are pregnant and we're going to be an aunt and uncle in August for the first time!  We're so excited!

Favorite non-wrapped non-Christmas surprise:  My sister's throwing me a bachelorette party in Napa Valley the week after my half marathon.  We're doing a three-day weekend there with her, my mom, two of my friends and one of their moms (who I'm really close to).  I'm sooo excited and surprised, because my sister hates wine but planned this all anyway!

MARIO BROS!! Although, not from Mark. He's still a little leery that I'm going to kick him out for not buying it for me .

No really, my fave gift is the GE Profile smooth-top convection range that my parents got for us. Mark's mom bought be an AWESOME huge purple leather purse and a gift certificate for the beautiful nursery in town, can't wait for spring!

I got a new iPod Nano! Woohoo! It's one of the new video ones, so I'm already looking at TV shows and movies to download to it. We also got some cash. DH says he'd like to do what his parents do with cash gifts and just split it so we can each get ourselves something. I'm having fun today deciding what I'm going to get myself!

Favorite present? Ipod touch or really sweet Twins tickets for Target field in May.





Also, my husband is SUPER pokey and has a reputation of being late to everything and taking his sweet time doing everything. I, on the other hand, am always early, efficient, and quick. He wrote me a sweet letter stating that he wanted us to start a tradition of giving each other ornaments every year and that we would start with the one he got me. On the outside of the box it said "With your help, someday I will be this man." Inside? An ornament of Flash Gordon, Fastest man alive. So sweet.

Thanks, sara!  I've actually been bugging FI about honeymooning in Napa, but now we can go somewhere else.

Ooh, and we got the toaster off our registry.  I'm stoked because one of our toaster elements had burned out, so we had to flip our toast to get it done on both sides.

And FI gave me a jewelry box and manicure GC, and a really sweet card that made me both laugh and cry.

Favorite Christmas gift was a new camera, favorite birthday gift was tickets to go see Wintuk.  That show has been my white whale for years now, I am so excited to finally see it!

You guys had awesome Christmases! DH and I had a $30 limit, which was actually kind of fun because we had to be creative. He got me Snow White, because that was his favorite movie when he was tiny, and because he said I'm his Snow White, and a very cool Poe canvas with a quote from The Raven screenprinted on it.

I also got a white owl from my sister, then the exact same white owl from my mom, so they'll make awesome bookends, and MIL got me an owl vase that matches the Poe canvas, so those gifts weirded me out a little but are still great.

Aside from that, we got IKEA gift cards, so we are planning bedrooms and kitchen now. I also discovered that if I take J to IKEA, he gets all sorts of ideas about what he wants and it motivates him to purge all his crap. THAT's the greatest gift of all.
