I also appreciate Ms. Maci.  Ryan sucks and really should have called.  Its not her problem that he is a dbag.

That Amber chick needs some serious help.  I kinda fear for her child.

Amber is horrifying.  Someone needs to take Leah away ASAP.  That child is in for a world of hurt if they leave her with that thing for a mother.

I used to loathe Farrah, but she's starting to grow on me, the more and more she acts like a human being.

I like Maci.  I also like Catelynn and Tyler.

I'm kinda over Catelynn and Tyler.  I like them but I'm disappointed that she didn't graduate.

I've seen bits and pieces of Maci's back tattoo before, but now after seeing a glimpse of it in her bikini, I'm wondering exactly what it is, and how she got her whole back done while she was in HS. Maybe she did it afterward. I'm intrigued.

Amber really is scary awful. She doesn't want to put Leah through CPS, so she'll just abuse her and whine her to death? Ugh.

I wanted to reach out and smack his hands and say that, but he doesn't need any more abuse.

I have to seriously wonder if there is something else going on the viewers aren't being made privy to.
I mean, he gave her that huge bouquet and begged for an apology... from her.

I feel bad for Maci, but I can't say I'm surprised. I mean, these sort of things are often predictable. Maybe that's why I feel bad for her. I'm glad she decided to stay and I hope she isn't lying about her reasons for wanting to stay.


I loved that summary about last week's episode. Amber really is always on that freaking couch. She spends far too much time making excuses for why she doesn't have time to do anything. She has time, she just spends it on that couch taking naps and learning how to fight. She makes fun of Gary for not spelling 'recently' right, but I felt it was hypocritical of her since so much of her storyline was based around her not graduating college or able to take her GED.

I wish Gary would grow a pair and STOP APOLOGIZING to Amber. He didn't beat on her, he didn't go all psycho and demand a proposal and then dump her.  He needs to take Leah away from Amber and just be done.  Seriously Gary, get some counseling.  

I loved how Amber called him while he was at the flower shop and screamed at him.  The look on the florist's face was priceless. 

And I agree Rosie.  It's just creepy.  If that was the best day of his life he's got a pretty effed up existence.

I didn't know whether to cry or throw up, or what.  I feel so sorry for him!  I think if he had full custody of Leah, he wouldn't be so up Amber's ass.  I think he is just sucking up and apologizing a million times over because he doesn't want to be away from his daughter.

Also?  That is the second time I've heard Gary pronounce the word, "gesture" like  "guess-ture."  ::headdesk::

I mean he was on Work Release. A concept that Amber seemed to actually think was a good thing.

Yeah, when I was bartending in college there was a waiter at my restaurant on "work release".  He had to spend like 90 days in jail for his third DUI.  But he actually had to spend all his time that wasn't at work in jail, and show the jail people his time slips from work every day.  He got to leave jail in the morning 60 minutes before his shift started, and he had to be back at jail no later than 30 minutes after his clock-out time.

Is there another kind of work release, where you're actually "released," or was that dude seriously an inmate?

I missed the beginning of the episode, but I couldn't believe Gary bought her flowers. SF is right. Either the women in Gary's life have beat him down so much and ripped off his balls, or something else is going on.

I also agree that it's ridiculous that there is a double standard in hitting. The dude who hit Snooki basically had his life ruined and all Amber is going to get is a lecture from Dr. Drew on the reunion. I know we might not be given all of the information of what happens behind the scenes, but if the only counseling Amber and Gary are forced to be in is the reunion talk with Dr. Drew, I'm going to lose all respect for him.

Oh and I've read some books written by prisoners, and it's amazing the lengths they'll go to to get a buzz. Think rotten fruit fermenting in trash bags...
