Hello all!  I am at home again today (working) so as to spare my coworkers from my delightful (and juicy) nose blowing. They are grateful. Lucy just wants me to play. ha!

Anywho, what's in store for you all today? Anything fun?

Hello!  I'm working at home as well.  H is out of town this week for the first time in months and I've got to say it doesn't really bother me this week   I can watch my bad TV shows without judgment and go to bed with the TV on.

Snips, we're doing Michigan next week.  We did look at switching to Vegas but it was too late to cash in our free flights so Michigan it is!  I think we'll have fun.  I need to pull up my old thread and write down all the great recommendations people gave me.  Hope you feel better!

Morning. I had such weird dreams and was hot all night so I didn't get much sleep. I feel like a zombie. At least it has cooled off here! Snips, I hope you feel better soon. I wish I could work from home!

Today is a long work day, blah.  But tomorrow (an even longer day) is supposedly the day I get to pick up the kittens, so I have something to look forward to.  Tonight I will set up the house to prepare for kittens.

Thanks guys. I do feel better, it's all just moving now, so it sounds gross. Which has also led me to an interesting conclusion about myself. I find mucus fascinating. Totally fascinating. I guess I missed my calling as an ENT. ha!

Mica, I hope you are able to get ze kittehs tomorrow as promised.

I have to be careful when I work from home. I get distracted easily and tend not to get as much done. :-x

Morning.  I'm working double today.  8:30-12pm and then 4:30-7pm.  It wouldn't be so bad if the second job wasn't 45 minutes away from where I live, but the hourly rate makes the drive worth it.  The intense heat we were having here seems to have finally broken too, which means working outside will actually be pleasent.  Feel better Snippy!

Glad you are starting to feel better, Snippy!  I don't think I could ever work from home.  I would constantly be distracted by something else and my lack of productivity would be quite clear.

I've got to prep dinner this morning before heading to work.  I'm working at another office today covering for someone who is out.  I'm checking in patients, scheduling them, and answering their phones today... which is making me nervous since I have never worked at this clinic and have no idea how they operate.  I dislike getting thrown into the fire and just having to wing it.

Morning, all!  I am hitting the ground running today because it's going to be another busy one.  Work, saying bye to my family visiting from FL, then class, which is actually a field trip tonight.  We're going to the Noah Webster House and West Hartford Historical Society (clicky), touring the house, and learning how to cook, Revolutionary War era-style.  I'm excited, it's definitely going to break up the monotony of the two-hour class each week.  I have a pile of homework to do and a presentation due for Thursday, gah.

Mucus is gross - haha, I can deal with mine but anyone else's I find disgusting.

My pup just tried to jump on the bed, she ended up over jumping it and flying off the other side almost crashing into the wall. Part of my laughed because she is usually pretty annoying every morning.

Tonight H and I are going to see Hunger Games, again, at the cheap theater with my cousin and her boyfriend. She just finished reading the trilogy and loved it. I'm almost finished with HP & The Half Blood Prince (less than 100 pages) and that's all I want to do right now.

I hope you feel better, snips. I'm not on the up and up either. Woke up at 230am with sweats and an excruciating stomach cramp. Was in the bathroom for about an hour and thought I was gonna pass out the whole time. Rinse and repeat for the next two hours and yeah, not going to work today. I hope it's just something I ate. Ugh.

Good morning!

P&R this morning. Have my long awaited appt with the headache guy at the university hospital at 9am. Which means I'd best get off my rear, in the shower, and into clothes or I'll be late. I need to leave the house in about 15 minutes.

I have a raging migraine from the storms and I gritted my teeth last night badly enough that my cheeck bones are tender, so it's a very good day to go see the doc.

Even with that in mind, it's a beautiful day - I'm in my PJs, in bed, and I slept an extra hour.

I've never had food poisoning before so I don't even know if that's what it is. But all I ate last night was pasta and a DQ cone? I dunno. All I do know is that I have never had that bad of pain in the bathroom and actually been super sweaty when in reality I have the chills. Wtf digestion.

Thanks everyone. I am pissed mostly because I dont get PTO or sick days so i hate losing the money. But i didn't wanna risk spending half the day in a bathroom stall haha.

Morning all.  I got up extra early today, so I could stop and get Bojangles.  Best decision I've made in awhile.  I have boot camp tonight, although doing it in 90 degree weather isn't ideal, at least I am doing something.

Air conditioner gets fixed tomorrow...woo hoo!  It will be 2-1/2 weeks without it, so I am excited.  We haven't cooked at all during that time, so I can't wait to get back to it.

I'm planning on it, Cfas! I'm knotting mobile from bed at the moment, heh. It is so weird for me because while I normally always have a touchy digestive system, I hardly ever get sick to my stomach, like ever.

Good Morning!

I was in a really good mood until I got to work and had to walk through a giant cloud of some gawd-awful perfume, which I'm allergic to.  So, now my head is pounding and I've been sneezing pretty continuously.  Awesome.  I'm not sure if someone sprayed it on at work or just took a bath in it this morning.

Hope everyone else starts feeling better!

Looks like a beautiful day here.  I can see the sailboats going down the river already!

No sailing for me today.  Doctor's appointment at 2:00 and the optomotrist at 3:30.  I have been driving without glasses since Easter (sister ran over them) and if I get caught, I'll be fined.

Hope you feel better soon, Musical!  I know the stomach bug has been going around here like wildfire.  People I know have even gotten it 2-3 times... yuck.  I have become one of "those people" who uses the cart wipes at the grocery store and sanitizes my hands on a regular basis.  I also work at a hospital so that makes me extra paranoid, lol.  Rest and take it easy today!

Ugh, I better get going.  I have 30 minutes to shower, do my hair, get dressed, and pack my lunch... craaaaaap.

I will never understand why some people feel the need to "bathe" in their perfume. Nothing in that quantity smells good. Hope your head stops pounding soon.

Found out this morning that my aunt doesn't have cancer in both breasts, just the one and they did catch it early. It's the kind that can spread to the other and grow faster so they're just doing a double mastectomy to be safe.
