[QUOTE]damn andy, i would probably lose 30 pounds if I couldn't eat cheese.  and i'd cry everyday.

that's the WORST part.  I lost maybe like 5 pounds - but that's it.  Totally not worth it.  I miss mac and cheese like whoa.

  • Heya!

My day was decent, but really boring. I have to projects due on 12/31 and am waiting on stuff from other people for both of them. I can't really do much on them until I get it, so I just sit at work and think about how much the last week of this month is going to suck.

Tonight we had spinach and artichoke stuffed chicken breasts, cheese explosion kraft mac-n-cheese, and green beans. :)

And I would be my dog as well. He's currently sitting on my lap telling me about how awesome his life is. If I couldn't be my dog, I would be bird.
  • Sorry, had a phone call.  Andy I feel so sorry for you everytime you say you can't eat cheese.  I love cheese, and seriously can sit there with a brick of a good cheese and just eat it plain.  And feta cheese is amazing.

Why is that?? I dont know if I've heard you say before.

I'm technically lactose intolerant, but I can handle dairy in small doses. However, it's kind of flared up in the past two weeks after my food poisoning/stomach flu situation.
  • You ladies are making me want cheese now since H still hasn't gotten off the couch to make the smoothies. Now I am getting hungry with all this talk of food.
  • I would be so sad if I couldn't eat cheese.  Most of the rest of dairy I could leave behind in a heartbeat, but I love cheese.  And I had pizza for lunch.
  • Sooo...as far as I know its just IBS.  Its not the kind of lactose intolerance that can be fixed by lactaid.  It started about a year ago and is mostly controlled by diet.

  • So the guy I work with tonight had a dinner to go and just got back.  He brought me a huge plate of food.  I wasn't planning on eating 2 dinners tonight, but the brownie sitting on my plate tells me I totally should. Laughing

  • Beachy, I'm an idiot and realized that what I thought was red cheddar crostini was, in fact, not.  I suppose I should have looked closer.  I will get some this weekend :)  If I don't get snowed in Saturday...

  • Hmmmm, you sure you just didn't eat the loaf yourself?  JK.  I have become addicted to this jalapeno chedder crostini at safeway, and I eat the whole load within 2 days, sometimes only 1.

Ohhhhh yeah that sucks :( That would be another thing of mine that was aggravated by my stomach thing two weeks ago.  I swear I have so many issues.

I lost a LOT of weight when it hit me my junior year of high school. The softball moms thought I was anorexic or something and talked to my mom about it. I still have issues and I should probably watch what I eat more to help it. The symptoms are just different now and are easier to live with on a day to day basis.

Did you doctor ever give you medicine for it? I took some for awhile in HS but it didn't really help.

  • beach that is exciting! It would be hard for me not to go home right this second if i were you.
  • Thanks Andy!  And in case you didn't hear, in 3 weeks and 4 days I'm going to be part of one of the best knottie G2G ever!  It could only be better if you 2 came too Frown

  • No! I am back on my calorie counting.  It sucks.  How did I gain all this weight?  Damn.

  • Anna where is home for you?

Birdie it's actually not that bad.  Everyone from home has asked why I haven't just moved home while i was gone, but I really like it out here, and it's my home now so it's not bad.

  • I have been home a LOT this year.

You sure can. I am happy that you get to be with your family for Christmas.

I wish I could say that, too. But we have to wait until the middle of January to go home.
  • I am from Orlando. We are going there first, then up to Pensacola where FI is from. I just hope it get warmer there because I think now its almost as cold in Florida as it is here in DC.
  • That's so exciting that you get to go home!  How long will you be there?

  • I refer to my parents in WI as home, and Cleveland as home.  I've lived in Cleveland for almost 10 years now.  Is that still weird?

<div>That's awesome you all get to go home.  Between my wedding, my brother's, and my good friend's I have purchased enough plane tickets I should own the airline.  Therefore, no money to go home this winter.</div>

  • I'll be home for 2 weeks.

Loopy I do the same thing.  I keep talking about my parent's house and calling it my house.  It will be an impossible habit to break I'm sure since I lived there for almost 27 years.  That's right, I was the loser who lived at home with my parents until my wedding.

<div>J's family lives right outside Orlando (Longwood).  I love visiting them.  Partly cause I like them, and partly cause we always end up at Disney and/or Universal.  Next time we visit there will be a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.</div>
