Today I...will finish packing for Florida for my FSIL's wedding, visit the IL's at FI's uncles, figure out my new camera since I'll be the primary photog at the wedding, will spend time with my Mom.

Snippy - stupid squirrels are in my garage.  I had gotten rid of them but some new ones came in a few days ago (4 big fat ones).  They're mean too - I didn't even know squirrels hissed.  They typically are on the passenger side of the car in the rafters, but these squirrels are on the drivers side and I was scared to get in the car.  So I chased them with the snow shovel so I could get in my car. 

Of course I'm such a baby that I still got in the passenger side and crawled over, just in case they were still there.  They're overhead, so I have nightmares of one jumping and biting my face like the crazy dog in Something about Mary.

They'll hiss but that's about it, tbh.  I think you should get some rodent control out there. :)  The humane kind, that is.  They'll find the hole and close it up and get the squirrley's out.

Also, just so you guys know that I have a fear of squirrels that dates back to my suburban news paper carrying days when a squirrel was running around my feet and ankles and I tried to let out a scream that wouldn't come out and I was trying to whack it with my empty newspaper bag that wouldn't swing because there was no weight in it.  It was like a bad dream where nothing you were trying to do to save yourself was working. 

I can only assume I was close to his nest or something.

Today I am working, in between cleaning my house and giving my 85 lb mutt a bath, which is always a challenge.  I'm also attempting to wash the covers on his beds but I'm not sure how it's going to go.

And I'm considering venturing out to the grocery store-- I have pumpkin roll but no milk to drink with it, and I need to get some liquor for tomorrow.

Today I... got out of bed and manage to shower before sitting in front of my computer to start work.

Today I will be driving my neighbor and her mom to the commissary to go grocery shopping since they are both petrified of driving in the snow and won't go out if not.

Aw Manda You'll have to eat my share of rum balls if you make them again this year. We had to keep up the tradition of having 2 pregnant people at the G2G after all

Stacks, I totally get your fear! The squirrels at Purdue were so used to people they wouldn't run away if you walked up to them. They would always jump up onto the trash cans around campus and I was SO afraid to pass by them. I always envisioned them jumping off and attacking my face as I walked by!!!

So far yes, it just depends on the weather. Now that it's a 2 hour drive I don't know if convincing the already overprotective husband of mine that driving in the snow over the mountain is going to be as easy.
