My parents liked to pretend that we didn't live together. And they liked to pretend that I actually slept in the guest room, which is "my room".  Having my room has been the best thing for our relationship though.

I've never gotten into the Voice.  Is it good?

ETA: Good is subjective, as I'm currently watching The Bachelor.

My parents were pretty upset about us moving in together.  They came to visit the weekend after we made the move and they wouldn't even come up and see the place cause they considered that "condoning" my decision to live in sin.

FI spoils the hell out of me because he usually has dinner ready when I get home from work. I've been trying to cook for myself on Monday's when he has class late but I think I'm just going to eat out from now on.

I hate the clean up too. I try to clean as I cook or if something is in the oven. FI eats so slow and I feel like the food is just sticking more and more to the plate.

I never cook (unless it's frozen) while FI isn't here. I usually get take out that he doesn't typically eat.

Also, I'm feeling more normal that other peoples' parents are like mine. It seems that all my IRL friends' parents were totally fine with their kids moving in together.

Our parents were fine when we moved in together when we were just dating. Oddly, I got a "oh you're living in sin" comment from one of my bosses. I had a good funny comeback for it that I don't remember, but it still irks me.

FI just learned how to make homemade sweet and salty kettle korn, and he's been making it every. single. night. I'm not complaining. This is in addition to the fact that he also cooks me dinner every night.

My older sister paved the way for living in sin. By the time I moved in with Lucas my dad was whatever about it. TBH though he didn't really give a hoot that she moved in with her H before they were married. I don't think they were engaged yet at that point either.

hello efriends.  Not much going on here.  Just watching the Voice.  Gonna have me a glass of wine soon I think.  Instead of cleaning my house in my extra half day off of work, I took a nap instead.  oops.

My brother used my uncle's weekend places to sin with his girlfriends in secret.  Apparently he didn't pave the way enough. You think me moving in with my FI wouldn't have phased them so much.

Naps are key.  Besides, I find my house is magically cleaner after I nap.  (Okay, not really, but I like my house a lot better when I'm well-rested.)

I normally NEVER take naps.  They usually make me more tired and crabby  So I'm trying to get some stuff down now.  I did get most of the garbage taken out and i'm trying to go through some papers.

My SIL is going to have a garage sale in the spring to make room for the baby, so I'm going to bring all my stuff over to her house, so I'm trying to start figuring out what I'm going to get rid of

Awesome opportunity KJB.  The street we lived on before we bought our house had a neighborhood sale twice a year.  All the houses would have people in front of them and people would come from all over.  I made about $250 downsizing some of our duplicate stuff after we'd merged households.

The best part is. my grandpa LOVES garage sales.  All I have to do is price things and bring them over.  He organizes everything.  We usually have one once a year, but SILs house is by far the best location.  My house sucks since it's out of the way, my parents house is decent, but SIL is best.  My plan this year to to sneak stuff over there without H having a chance to say "No, let's keep that 43r frying pan, we might need it."

I love GS cookies!  It is a good thing they only come once a year, or else I would eat entirely too many of them.

you know what's fun?  The place we take beefy swimming to had a photographer come and do underwater shots of the dogs swimming.  Beefy's turned out awesome.  This was back in November I think.  The photographer's business has EXPLODED since then.  It's been fun to watch it grow on facebook.  and I'm happy we got our pics when we did since I'm sure they're more money now!
