I agree, Blade II is not dinnertime fare.   Maybe you'll have to make him a list of approved dinnertime movies.

I have a long standing rule that no movies are watched during dinner, unless they are romantic comedies. Normally its the news, a british soap opera i like, or home shows. He wanted to watch braveheart the other night when I made our huge new years eve dinner. No thank you.

I have to ditto Blade II is not a dinner movie.

 DH knows better than to even try.  I would take my dinner and go outside to the balcony or the bedroom.  Then he would get sad that I'm not with him and he will change the channel.

We always go to the table and leave laptops in the loungeroom for dinner. 

 

I did, however, get put off the cheese and biscuits I was snacking on when H put on Zombieland a couple of days ago!
