Hair and makeup artists in NYC?

Hi! I am looking for hair and makeup stylists in NYC and am having trouble finding recommendations. Is anyone familiar with any of the following stylists: Kerri Urban, Once Upon a Bride, Cheek to Chic, Lauren Napier, or Blades Natural Beauty?

Any other recommendations? Especially hairstylists who can do a sort of classic, vintage-inspired updo?

for a vintage-inspired style, give the Beehive in Williamsburg a try. i'm having a trial there in 2 weeks for same. they do makeup and i'm trying that too. the hair is $125+ i think.
