Too early for evening thread? I don't care.

I never leave threatening message on my leftovers, but I may start doing that. When I'm at home, my dad tends to take all my leftovers and pretend he thought they were his. Nice try, dad. FI tends to do the same thing, though he's much more blatant about stealing my leftovers.

(Continued from last night's thread)

"Sleeping Beauty" was so good. I'm seriously considering asking FI if we can use "Once Upon a Dream" as our first dance.

We've been having trouble coming up with ideas for our first dance, and that song kept making me weepy last night. He didn't say "ick" every time it came on, so I might be able to make a play for it. He can be really picky about music, but he loves classical and oldies. That song sort of fits both.

I'm glad you liked it Wrigley. My favorite part is when they are trying to bake the cake and keep changing her dress color. That's a good song though. I think it would be nice for your first dance.

Any good TV on tonight? School is seriously irking me, FFS whatever adult needs to be told that wikipedia is an inappropriate source for an academic research paper should be smacked. Hard.

Want to hear what is worse?  I had a professor last semester say that the world is changing and that while he didn't want to encourage anyone to use wikipedia, it wasn't better than nothing.

Soap plays The OC, which makes me happy. I have all the seasons on DVD, so I don't know why it matters, but it's just way better when it comes on tv... like how songs are way better when they randomly come on the radio than if you put in the CD or something.

My favorite part was when the animals all dressed up in the Prince's clothes and then walked around. It was cute.

I think it would be nice, but there's part of me that's sort of "meh" about dancing to a Disney song as our first dance. FI might get teased forever. A lot of his friends are pretty metal/hardcore. Maybe they won't know where it's from. ;)

Musu - I can't really see the difference between HD and regular. We will switch from the HD channel to the regular one and I can't tell a difference. FI apparently can.

when I lived with my parents i had brought home some leftover pizza from my favorite place and left a note on it that said "Hockeyfan's Pizza "

I woke up the next day and there was an empty container with a note on it that said "My House, My Refridgerator, My Pizza Love, Dad"

I was pissed!

I can tell big time. I always tell FI our cable provider probably makes the regular channels look like crap on purpose. We can hardly stand to watch them.

How can you NOT notice the difference? Usually those weird channels like Soap, We, etc, also have a smaller screen so it doesn't fill the whole tv. That is usually the biggest indicator of non-HD on those kinds of channels anyway. I sort my channels by HD so I don't have to scroll through doubles of channels though. I really don't get how you can't see a difference. That is bizarre to me.

rsanna - When I student taught the 7th grade I took points off essays for kids using chat/text lingo. I am all for abbreviations when it's appropriate, but using b/c instead of because is just lazy. My mentor thought I was being "harsh" I thought I was being a good teacher.

we normally don't have leftovers in this house...H eats it all for dinner, no matter how much I make.  Occasionally I will have leftover pizza...and since H is allergic to dairy, I never worry about it...but he inevitably ends up eating it and saying "Sorry I was hungry and thought I would risk it"
