Do they LIKE pearls? I mean, I grant you that pearls might be more useful than something in your wedding colors, but it really comes down to whether or not they'll like the gift.

Personally I have pearls already and don't normally wear necklaces.  However I wear earrings almost every single day.

I would prefer earrings, but I don't think I would turn down a nice pearl necklace.

I personally don't like pearls and if someone bought them for me, I wouldn't know what to do with them.

Both of my BMs really liked their pearl necklaces, so I voted necklaces. But I also got them another, more personalized gift to go with the necklace.

Do they have ear allergies?  My sister can only wear very specific kinds of earrings with a limited number of metals in them.

I like pearls... enough that I already have 3 necklaces of white pearls (different sizes) and 2 necklaces of colored pearls. so I'd hate to get yet ANOTHER pearl necklace. of the 2 remaining choices, I'd prefer the pearl bracelet simply because I don't have one. and I think a set of 7 earrings is a little too... Claire's.

I gotta ditto PPs that say to get them all jewelry that fits their individual tastes. that's what I did. every person got 2 pieces of coordinating jewelery, but none of it matched in color or style to what anyone else got. I truly tried to think of what each person dressed like and their jewelry style when i shopped for them. try that.
