I LOVE the new phone.  It's awesome.  I'm still waiting for the number switch to happen, but I can use it with the temp number, and play with all the fun widgets and such, and it ROCKS. 

I can't figure out how to post on here yet - can't make the keyboard show up when I select the message box, although I can type in subjects.  But, I'll sort that out eventually, I'm sure. 

If you're considering one, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it.

I love mine. I downloaded that Opera Mini browswer and I can now post on TK from my phone.

Welcome to life with Android. It's pretty sweet.

I just got on the smart phone bandwagon a few months ago and upgraded from my standard cell to a Blackberry. I'm hooked. And now I'm afraid of where this addiction my lead me. I've heard these Droids are cool.

I've had a BB for years for work.  The Droid is 50x better.  The web is as fast as my laptop.  The only thing I can think of to complain about is the lack of BB Messenger.

I'm having the same issue with my Incredible - no knot.  I tried the regular browser & the dolphin browser.  Now off to see about opera browser...

Mandy, it's an operating system for smartphones that Google has a hand in.  It's like all the best stuff from an iphone mixed with the good stuff and stability from a BB.

Hmm, cool.  I can't give up my BBM I just can't do it.  NOPE.  I love iphones.  They're awesome.  But, I can't give up my BBM.  I hate texting now.

Glad you're enjoying it! I'm waiting impatiently for my Incredible to arrive. Now I'm wondering if I should have gotten the Droid X instead. But the thing's just so darn unwieldy, at least in my little hands.

From what I understand, there's a wait for the X too.  The Incredible's definitely worth it, though I only waited a day, technically... I decided I wanted one, and went on a hunt.  On the second day of hunting, I found a Verizon authorized retailer that had ONE in stock.  It made up for the first day of hunting when I walked into Best Buy to see the last two being sold before my eyes.

You're lucky.  When I was looking, they were talking August for any new orders, and that was end of June/beginning of July.

I waited right at a month, I think.  I figured I'd been waiting 4 months to even look at phones - another month wouldn't kill me to get what I liked best.

Oh! I thought you meant the X. It gets confusing because Droid is a phone and Android is the operating system. You'd think they could be more creative with the names.

Yeah, I hate that they screwed with the names like that.  Irritating.  But, it's the best distraction at my desk since I found TK.

I just got my Droid.  It is a little difficult to use since this is my first smartphone.  I wish it came with some sort of instruction booklet to help the newbs out.

I am going to get a Droid X on August 9th, because I wil get an extra $100 off with my New Every Two plan. After that and the rebate (I will order online, because that way it is an instant rebate) I will get it for $100. Score!

DH got me an Evo the day it came out.  The 4g is incredible but the Droid system is awesome!
