I had asked my pastor to be the officiant at our ceremony as soon as I got engaged. He said "yes, that he would be happy to do it". Recently, my pastor has moved out of state and is no longer offiliated with a church as he is currently looking for empolyment. We hadn't talked about a contract or price because normaly we just make a donation since they are being paid by our church. He is traveling back to officiate my wedding and I was wondering what the appropriate "donation" would be to make to him since the circumstances are changed. Should I just go with a donation like planned when I ask him, or should I give him more money now since he is traveling? Thanks for the help!!!!
