Nice... H had to work.  We started cleaning the basement out yesterday and organizing (read, putting out for use) wedding gifts so I washed the new dishes and got them organized in the cupboard, washed the new pyrex storage, etc.  Cleaned up empty boxes and organized the attic.  And watched the OSU/Michigan game too.  Busy day.

Hiya beachy.  

So I have a sad little story.  My mom's good friend went up to Michigan for Thanksgiving.  Her ILs watched her cat.  The cat got out of the house on Thanksgiving.  THEY DIDN'T TELL HER THE CAT GOT OUT until her son went to their house to pick her up.  She is beside herself.  And the cat is 13, front declawed and has kidney problems and needs fluid injected every few days.

I didn't watch the whole game, just bits and pieces while I was making trips up and down the stairs with boxes (needed to catch my breath)... I don't know what the Ohio State gloves refers to.

Aww KJB that's horrible.  How do you not tell someone that their pet is missing?

Loopy we have so many shower gifts that we didn't use until we moved here, and even some we still haven't used.  I was so excited to have my friend here for Thanksgiving so that I could actually use the fancy napkins and napkin rings, and a bunch of our serving spoons and stuff.

Yeah, they were shower gifts, and wedding gifts that have been in a stack in the basement for the last 3 months.  We are redoing the basement this winter (new ceiling, walls, lights, and probably cheap carpet) so we needed to empty it out.  We had a bunch of other stuff stored down there too.  

H took loads and loads out to the curb last night.  I'm so glad the garbage men too it all.

Our garbage gets picked up at the curb, but we also have dumpsters in the front of the complex that we can bring stuff to.  When we moved in we were taking like 3 and 4 trips a day there.  I couldn't stand looking at it any longer in our garage.

To answer the question about the Ohio State gloves, when you put the 2 hands together it makes the block "O." Most the teams' gloves do that. The refs today (and always) just sucked. There were so many bs penalaty flags, it wasn't even funny. At least we won though, so that is all that matters in my mind.

Sorry, I just had to jump in on that one being an Ohio State alum and all.

H and I have been watching football all day, doing pretty much nothing. We are trying to come up with something else to do as we are both bored. And all the teams that are playing now we could pretty much care less about.

Ohio State players, dressed up in bright scarlet helmets and shoes for the game, were twice flagged for forming an "O" with their gloved hands while celebrating after touchdowns. 

Must be excessive celebration .

KJB- did you go buy the shower cleaner today?  I went to Target and stocked up on cleaning supplies.  I got a new one since they had the extra cleaning power one.  So I put the old one in the guest bath and the new one in mine.  It was $17 for the new one and that comes with a full bottle of cleaner.

so far, I've only seen her on the Catholic Brides board.  She should certainly know better than to use the term virgincita, particularly to describe herself.

Virgincita is an Indo Christion statue, adored by many.  I think it dates back to the Aztecs

It shouldn't of been. The refs usually just don't like us, so they try to find anything they can to call us or penalize us on. If they didn't want the players to make use of them, why put them on the damn gloves in the first place?

Yeah that's just dumb.  They shouldn't allow them to even wear the gloves if that's the case.

Hahaha.  Well you brought up feeling sick again. 

I can't believe its only 7:20 right now.  I'm so bored I wish it was later so I could justify going to bed.

Yeah, we are bored, too. It is about 10:30 pm here, and the thought of going to be has crossed my mind.

I think I am just depressed about not being able to go home for any of the holidays. It just isn't the same. I never thought I would miss my family this much, but I do. Well maybe I just miss my IL's and sister a lot.

It's 10:30 here.  We put in Ocean's Eleven cause it was on TV, and we decided to watch without commercials .  But H fell asleep on the couch in the middle of it.

Evening ladies. My DH is still bent out of shape over the BSU game from last night. Several of my friends have said the kicker should walk home to Boise.

I still feel like crap and it only seems to be getting worse. I'm going to have to call the doctor on Monday if I don't feel better by then.
