At the risk of being a PW, how do you guys feel about these accessories to go with my dress? Even though we're still about 5 months out, I'm trying to get everything WR done by July 1st, since we'll be moving.

The earrings and ring are really cute and look like your kind of style. I like them. I think the veil is okay. It doesn't really have much detail on it so I don't really have an opinion either way. Are you still wearing Bec's headband?

I'm planning on it, beatles! I'd have to see if it could work with the veil... I'd like to wear one, so I might do the veil for the ceremony and the headband for the reception. It's so purty!

I'm doing a veil for the ceremony and headband for the reception, Poli.

Is the detailing on your dress gold or champange? (Hard to tell in the pics - I hae bad eyesight.) If so, go with the jewelry! I also definitely picture you in a birdcage veil.

ETA: I don't see actual beading on your dress AFAIK. So yeah, go with the gold.

Nebb, I definitely still like the viney thing Once I find a veil (I do like this one, but it's definitely plain), I'll see if it will work with the headband. If not, I might do veil/viney thing for the ceremony and the headband for the reception. All of the benefits of a costume change, without the second dress

Mery, it's a ivory dress with a very, very light blush ribbon under the bust. The white balance in the photos is all wonky :P

I'm sure you will look lovely either way. And yeah, the headband would probably interfere with the veil so switching is a great idea. I'm psyched to see what you'll look like with everything all put together!

I love the jewelry.  It's gorgeous.  Birdcage style veils are NMS, but I can totally see you pulling it off.

I see what you guys mean about the veil. I've had a heck of time finding a birdcage veil in a finer net like that, but I think I'll keep looking. I really want the dress to speak for itself and not be overpowered by a veil, but there's got to be something out there!

Are you 100% set on wearing a veil? Why not forgo the veil completely and just focus on hair accessories (headband and flower thing?)?

I think the jewelry will complement the dress & vintage look... I'd look at a few more veils, as you said you were going to, or simply go with the headband/hair clip.

Not that I'm in the market for a wedding dress but may I ask who the designer is? It's unique and again, it's gorgeous!

Nebb, I think I really would like to wear one... I doubt I'll be able to rock a birdcage veil again (unless I decided to be THAT wedding guest), but I'll see if there's one out there that works.

Jaytee, it's called "Felice" by Melissa Sweet! I tried on way too many dresses, but I'm glad I held out for this one!
