The vast majority of my family lives out of state, over Christmas, my grandmother who lives in new jersey asked about bridal showers. I told her that my MOH said she wanted to throw one over the summer in Dallas, where FI and I live and where the wedding will be. She replied that something in Dallas would exclude out of state guests. FI suggested that there be some sort of event for out of staters a few days before the wedding when everyone gets into town. Apparently that doesn't seem to work either. What exactly is the 'policy' about out of state guests and showers?
