[QUOTE]I'm here, waiting for H to get back from a job. I'm going to tag along with him to the other places later, just to have something to do. I don't feel like writing after this hell week, plus my wrists/arms are acting up so I need a break from typing.<strong> I also just had a text debate with my mom over whether or not Peter Pan was Disney's brainchild. Mom, seriously. When I say JM Barrie created Peter Pan, you should believe me.</strong>

<div>I hope your wrist feels better!</div><div>
</div><div>And I feel you on the stubborn mom thing.  Yesterday my mom wanted to do an ASL lesson.  Which is great and I'm thrilled that she wants to learn.  But she kept arguing with me.  Over something I was teaching HER.  She said the guy in the video didn't sign the number 6 right because his pinky finger was positioned slightly different (like, a centimeter off) than what she learned.  It's still the same sign, I promise.  And she argues with me that certain signs should change because they "don't make sense".  Well, does calling the thing you eat dinner on every night "table" in English really make logical sense?  No.  It's just how the language is.  Same thing.  She doesn't see it that way though. </div><div>
</div><div>And Eagles, I hope there is an open bar waiting for you tonight!</div>

I am secretly hoping he goes back to his nap, so i continue being lazy on the couch watching bad tv.

It was also only like $3 on clearance haha.

I also just added a bit of pink and white tulle to it to make a veil out of it.  It's pretty awesome. I'm proud of myself :)

  • I just got home a little bit from FI's... I went over to um, make up and stuff, and I walked in his room and there were clothes and dirty dishes EVERYWHERE. He's always kinda messy, but this was pretty bad. I seriously started having an internal panic attack like, How am I going to live with this man???? I'm not particularly neat, but I can't deal with THAT much mess. He says it's always that way during finals, and yes, it is neater the rest of the time, but I'm llike, wtf, what if he has a big case and he can't be bothered to put his glasses in the dishwasher for weeks at a time? It's going to be such a huge adjustment, I hope we can get a place a little bit before the wedding to hopefully work through the major speed bumps.

  • Uggghhhhh I LOVE baths with candles.  Love them.

I really want to go out shopping, but I have no good reason to go, except that I need nail polish for next weekend's wedding.

I think that's a perfectly good reason to go. I go out just to shop for nail polish all the time. Granted, I never *need* it, since I already have about 300, but still, I like new ones.

  • I have not done one productive thing today. I slept til 11:30 (was up til 2 studying) and have no motivation to keep going. Studying on a Saturday afternoon just seems so wrong that I'm having a hard time getting started.

Also, Angel -- I'm a messy person too. J's brain explodes every time he comes home. I'm trying to slowly get better though. My only exception is I actually HATE dishes being dirty so I'm always cleaning the kitchen. And the bathroom. But I could leave random shiit all over the place and I don't care/notice.

Okay - off to bring my dad back to his truck.

I'll leave you ladies with this - FI just sent it to me and I thought it was entertaining.

ETA - Whitsey, FI does the EXACT SAME thing to me. Witht he tone of voice like I'm the one making HIM wait. He generally gets a death glare. Which only makes him laugh at me.
  • LP, I need to get new stuff, but I feel like I shouldn't go until I have a place secured.  Window-shopping IS fun though.

  • FI takes his sweet time with everything, so I'm often waiting for him to be ready. It drives me up a wall, so I've started telling him things are 15 to 30 minutes before they actually are.

<div>I feel ya! H takes forEVER to get ready because he gets distracted by everything. The dog, the TV, his phone, his computer, air...it's ridiculous. Drives me insane.  Last weekend, we went to some open houses.  I told him we needed to leave at 12:30 if we were going to make it to all of them.  At 11:50, he comes in and asks me if I want to watch Grimm on On Demand to catch up.  He hadn't showered or anything yet either.  When I pointed out we didn't have enough time, he was all "oh, we don't?" NO.  We don't,  Get in the damn shower. </div>
