I have hired hair/makeup people for the day of my wedding. I asked everyone, including my FMIL, if they were interested in using the pros to help get ready. This was months ago, and I probably wasn't thinking. As time goes by I realize I'm not comfortable with FMIL being with the bridal party getting ready. So my two questions are; is it even normal? I've never heard of this situation. Normally it's just the bride's people that are with her, not the in laws. Second question is, what do I do about it now? I was thinking of having her go first with hair/makeup then somehow (and well ahead of time) tell her she'll have to leave, that I don't feel comfortable with her seeing me ahead of time. Just a little background, she's nice, but I wouldn't call her up and say lets get together for lunch. She's very trying and we'll leave it at that, lol. I don't think it would be the best energy to have around me on my wedding day. Help!
