Am I a Grinch?

Things I am currently hating about the holidays:
- the baked goods that keep showing up in our office kitchen
- holiday music EVERYWHERE
- hearing about what my SAHM friend is buying for her kid/ decorating her home with/ cooking

Am I alone?

I'm not feeling too Scroogey this year, but we're not doing presents to each other or anyone else this year since the wedding is this weekend.

So my Christmas spirit is a little off this year. Shopping for the gifts and wrapping them is one of my favorite parts of the holiday.

I also think I'm less Scroogey than I have been in the past.

Although FI borrowed my car the other day, and when I got in it yesterday morning my radio was tuned to the station that plays Christmas songs (103.5, Kati). I laughed. Then changed it right away. It's not one of my presets, but I remember him asking me last week what station played Christmas music...

Haha, that is cute about the music.  I feel so horribly scroogey when I go into/out of a store and the salvation army person rings their bell at me the whole time.  Nothing against them, but I generally carry NO cash/change on me and I feel like I look like a huge jerk for not dropping in some change.  Here I am carrying all my shopping bags, but can't even drop in a quarter?

Rach,   That's definitely understandable with everything going on for you right now though.  I think my Grinchiness is mostly due to the stress of grad school apps and wedding planning, but hopefully I'll snap out of it.

Koopa - I sort of feel like that with homeless people too. I just told you I have no change, but I'm walking out of Starbucks with this latte and croissant... Except that we have so many homeless people around here you get almost immune eventually. Especially when they're belligerent.
