I can see if the girl said she posted about something reasonable and we jumped down her throat, but she said she asked about a small ceremony large reception, which is a huge etiquette faux pas so what did she expect?

I will never understand why some brides think it's so awful to get advice from women that are already married. Because like...we've been there/done that. If anything, we are a better resource.

Salt, you're absolutely right about that. Otherwise it would be the blind leading the blind. I think people think the already married ladies are just zomg SO INTO WEDDINGS and that if you hang out here after your wedding you're just sad and pathetic and wedding obsessed. Clearly that's not actually the case, but I think that's how outsiders perceive the already marrieds.
