Hi Y'all,
I am the bride and have to MOH's because I have known them both many years and I'm close to both. I'm having some issues about my bridal shower, I am aware that they are supposed to handle that and take care of the expenses. However one of them recently mentioned that she was stressed about how much money she would be spending on my wedding. I understand, they both pay rent for their apartments and one is a single mom. Times are tough and I get it. So lately the topic of my shower came up and I volunteered to buy the invitations and split the cost of favors and the bridal shower.
My finace thinks I am being way too involved and should allow them free reigh to choose the invites and whatever it is they can afford to do as favors and the type of bridal shower they can afford.
My deal is that I would like a nice little shower and if paying for some it is going to ease their expenses and have a shower that I will like too.
What do you gals think??? I don't want to be a bratty bride but I want to my MOH's to be stress free too....
