    @mrind1127 It seems like you are dead-set on including your mom's name.  It would be improper on the invitation as PPs have said.  However, it would be completely proper to include your mom in the program.  The program is the place to honor her, while the invitation should just list the actual host of the event.

    Truthfully, It's more that my in laws want to respect my family which I love that they want to do, but I am completely unsure what to do about it which is why I started asking... I am on crane's right now looking at what the website says so I am going to speak with my in-laws and have already forwarded the site to my MIL.. I do see how it can be improper so that is a conversation that I will have :) I gratefully appreciate all the help - planning a wedding without my mother is hard but having support of my in-laws makes it easier... and those that have more expertise as well!
