WHOO HOOO its finally here!!!! I'm so ready to walk down the aisle towards my best friend!!!!!
My FILs got here last night and this morning we were honored and blessed at our synagogue, then finished setting up the tables. The room is going to look AWESOME.
Then to pick up my wedding dress, which FINALLY fits me perfectly after 4 dress fittings (phew), but it does weigh about 30 lbs so I know I'm going to melt wearing it all day, (should have thought of that when I bought it in November! oops)
Tomorrow's manis/pedis, the rehearsal, then family dinner. Tomorrow night our wedding party is sleeping over and partying
Saturday is the welcome dinner for all our OOTers at Skyline Chilli, and then . . .
Sunday is our wedding day!!!! Ceremony starts at 5:30, but the day will start much sooner than that. Hair/Makeup at 9:30, first look at 12:30, posed pictures until 3:30, then we start our Jewish rituals (ketubah, tish, bedeken) before the ceremony officially starts at 5:30, followed by cocktail hour, and reception-- the band starts playing at 7:30. And we did decide to do the family style meal. I'll report back!
We have a phenomenal DOC who is taking care of making sure everything runs perfectly smoothly and I'm sure it will! Not worried about any of it (is that weird?!?!)
I'l be back after the honeymoon to report back on the whole night
