How old is too young?

I am getting married this summer and my sister in law is having a baby and he will be 3 1/2 months old for the wedding. My sister in law feels strongly about having the baby at the wedding because she feels he will only sleep the whole time. It will be an evening wedding and my fiance and I feel the baby will be too young to attend. If the baby does not attend, he will be cared for by his grandparents, which is exactly what will happen when my sister in law attends two other weddings over the summer. Since there is already a sitter in place for the baby, we dont see why they rather not bring the baby and try to enjoy a night away. Please give me your opinion about the situation.

  • Thats a little, tiny baby. I understand thinking that the baby is too young for a wedding like that but that decision is ultimately up to the parents.

P.s. you did ask for our opinions, don't get defensive when you don't like them
  • Ok the fact that you already asked this AND already got our opinions is a little sick. Clearly you are pretty unnerved about the baby being there. Get over yourself.

Don't you get it Meaghan? The baby would really rather not be there.

  • And when I say who gives a fuuck what they do with the baby, I do not mean you should suggest they let it nap in the car.
  • Quite frankly, I think we're overlooking a potential possibility here, crazyfuckingbridelady.

There's gotta be an add on Craig's list for women just DYING to rent out their babies as props. Seriously. Check into it. THEN you'll have a baby for PICTURES, but none of the fuss!

I think the baby is utterly speechless at OP's lack of couth, therefore we might never know if it speaks English or not.

  • It's easy to recognize a post this fucking stupid, I don't need to be obsessed with it. But hey, since you didn't get the answer you WANTED, here it is:

Don't worry, you can tell your FSIL you don't want the baby at the ceremony! It's YOUR day! The baby will only be 3 1/2 months old so it's ok to just have it for pics, as long as it doesn't poop or pee, that will sooo ruin your special day! XOXO!!

Here's some advice, since you asked: ALWAYS assume that someone on this board will recognize you and your post, even if you wait months between posting the same question. There are enough regs on here at any time of day and they tend to remember terrible ideas. I wasn't even on during your earlier post, but when I logged on tonight I scrolled down a page to see what had gone on here (people usually do that so they don't repeat someone's question, let alone their own). That's how I recognized your post, because it was bad to begin with, and you got tons of responses and still ventured back for more with a barely modified repeat post.

I think you are the one with spare time on your hands if you are waiting all day to repost an awful question in the hopes you'll get that validation you missed out on earlier.
