AW Grooms cake! PIP

So long story short, we weren't going to have a grooms cake even though we wanted one, but then one of the GMs made us one as a surprise!  It's too cute, I just had to share.  FI and I met at college and the Yellowjacket was the mascot.

Yeah, only thing is is that it was baked on the 19th and it will be out on the 2nd.  We're going to have to keep people from eating it because I'm pretty sure that would kill them.  It hasn't been refrigerated at all.

Oh my gosh! Well if it makes you feel better most people don't eat the grooms cake anyway. Oh you could decoupage or shellac it! Then they couldn't cut into if they wanted to.

If I shellac it, can I keep it forever??  Maybe not.

you could try. but I wouldn't. it might smell. or your pet could try eating it and die. people walk into your house and say "what's that smell? oh that's my grooms cake from my wedding 15 years ago." you would be the weird cake lady.

OK Whit, I'll get right on that.  But when you get it it will be a month old and unrefrigerated.  'Cause that's how this GM rolls.
