I like cake, but usually leave a pile of frosting on my plate.  H asks me why I bother.

Bubbs - I'm doing well.  Starting to get some energy back.  I haven't taken a nap mid-day since Saturday.  And I took the dog for a walk yesterday (for like 30 minutes - but it felt like a major accomplishment).

German chocolate cake.  Once it cools, you poke holes in it with the ends of a wooden spoon and pour one jar of caramel ice cream topping and one can of sweetened condensed milk all over the cake so it soaks into the holes.  After it's had time to soak in for a while, top with whipped cream and smashed up Skor (health or toffee) bars.

I hate socks.  I haven't purchased socks in probably 8 years, because I don't go through them quickly enough.  I wear uggs to work in the winter barefoot.  And then change into flats. 

Unless i am freezing cold, they don't go on my feet.  That's a lie.  I wear them to bed in hotel beds.  I hate high thread count sheets on my barefeet.  Shudder. 

I am going to the ocean in october, and i am scared to swim cause of what is in it.  I will probably go waist deep.  And that's it.

AABT both cakes sound yummy.

I have a love of paper napkins, I buy packets of them all of the time, ones for the different seasons, holidays, funny sayings, etc.  Also, I like for my placemates, napkins and dishtowels (the one hanging from the stove but never used, I know that is kinda weird) to all match, and be coordinated with the holiday, season, etc. 

My family has picked up on this (especially my daughter) so I get some pretty fun napkins from them.

Do you actually use it or just collect it? I ask because one of my CWs collects gift bags. She won't use the ones that are "too cute". They're just stockpiled in her attic.

I love cake.  I love weddings in hotels.  Cause I like to take my cake back to the hotel room with me and eat in bed.  (in a non sexual way)  I just love eating dessert in bed.  I DON'T KNOW WHY.

I only like eating chinese food in the living room carpet picnic style.  And I need a canned cola.  Coke, pepsi.  I don't care.  It has to be in a can.  I cannot have chinese food without it.

I have a lot of friends that did their grad work at Winthrop.  I'm thinking about going myself.  It's a cute little town, but nothing really to do.  Luckily, Charlotte is only 20 or so miles away.  Where on the coast?

He was an ass back in the day because I wasn't his girlfriend, I desperately wanted to be and I was probably really annoying in my attempts. He was looking to just get with a bunch of girls at age 18, I was looking for a relationship... it didn't mix well.

As for this time around, I know I've portrayed him pretty negatively lately and the last 2 or 3 months have been tough, but in the year before that, he treated me like gold. And yes, it's gotten better recently, but there's still a ways to go.

Nope, I am too cheap to spend $7 a roll.  So, I stock up after christmas and only buy pretty/nice wrapping paper.  I like wrapping paper that isn't green or red though.  I avoid it at all costs.

I'm a fellow sock wearer. I wear them all the time, especially slipper socks or the ones that are infused with lotion. I also wear a sports bra at all times that I'm not wearing a real bra (even sleeping). I like my boobs to be "up," they're not super huge or saggy, but when I don't have a bra on they just feel uncomfortable. 

I cannot wait until after the wedding so I can cut my hair. I'm growing it out for a style and for FI because he'd never seen my with hair past my shoulders until he saw some old pics of me at my mom's and asked me to grow it. I live with my hair twisted up in buns now. I just hate it sticking to the back of my neck. The last time I used to blow dryer was probably last August to set some pin curls. 

I also will go weeks and weeks without shaving my legs. I pretty much only do it when there's an occasion that I'm going to show my legs for. I don't ever wear shorts and have just started on a dress wearing kick. I've probably shaved my legs more often in the past 3 weeks with wedding dress appointments than I've shaved them in the past 7 months. FI doesn't mind, so I sure don't.

I am of the belief that nothing is better than sex. Except maybe sleep when I'm super, super tired. Sleep is pretty awesome. You know what else I find to be a really satisfying feeling? Finally getting to pee after having to hold it in for what feels like a bajllion hours. I've had to get pelvic ultrasounds and they make you drink a crap ton of water beforehand... I swear I've never felt relief like I did when I finally got to use the restroom.

I'm overly obsessed with fresh breath and dental hygiene and can't stand when others don't do the same.  You just had onion with a side of garlic for lunch?  Why don't you pop in some gum to freshen up a bit?  (I brush and floss after lunch at work... I'm cray cray).

I love heels and am obsessed with them but I can't walk in them so I appreciate them from afar.

I love that all my Christmas decorations are color coordinated.  When I have kids, they will have a smaller tree for all of their "homemade" ornaments, but the big tree will be 100% matching.
