How to RSVP?

FI and I have been invited to a wedding but will be getting married a few weeks before said wedding. Just out of curiosity how should we word our names on RSVP as I will be taking FI's last name? Should we just RSVP with our current names or put in what my future name would be at the time of their wedding? Said couple is aware of wedding as they have been invited to it!

I had this issue this weekend!

We ended up putting our soon-to-be title. The RSVPs are being sent to the bride's parents (as they are hosting) and we weren't sure if they were doing the place cards whether they would have been aware to put our (well, my) new title.

Well since I'm a big dork I would probably put "Mr and Almost Mrs. lastname will be attending". But that would only be if it were not a super formal wedding and the friends were close enough to share my nerdy sense of humor.

RSVP with your names at the time the RSVP card is returned.  Don't make a big stink if they lose sight of your updated name in the last minute hustle and bustle of wedding planning.
