Just kidding!  I totally hate it when people do that.  I've tried to stay in the loop even though I've been gone since Thursday, thanks to my awesome co-Mod Squirrly! 

I had a wonderful girls weekend with my friend who came in from Florida.  We went to the winery and sat outside with wine and a picnic, we went to a friend's pool for sun and swimming, we went to a baseball game, we went out for brunch and then margaritas and a pontoon boat tour.  And to top it all off, spent 4 hours at the spa yesterday getting massages, facials, and pedicures!  Ahhhhh, I am totally relaxed and tired, and back to work.  Boooo.....

I hope you all had great weekends too!

Vally, I am exhausted but we do have to go up north this weekend to see my parents and my H's family for the 4th.  His cousin does a big fish fry and it's a big family party.  It shouldn't be too hectic though, it's a slow pace up there. 

Plus, you guys!  Thursday my Mom called, our neighborhood got hit by a tornado!  They didn't have power for 3 days, they have a hole in their garage roof, and the neighbor's house is destroyed.  My Mom said that for the first time in 25 years that we've lived there, she can see through the trees to the neighbor's house and there is light coming in the basement windows.    But thankfully they are okay, just shaken up. I guess the whole neighborhood is just like a "war zone", that's what my brothers are saying.  So I'll see all that this weekend.

I've heard that there's been a lot of crazy weather up north (north of me anyway, which is pretty much everything, heh).

A fish fry sounds fun! We've wanted to fry a grouper but that hasn't happened in the 1.5 years we've had a fryer. and, aww shucks, thanks Dani!

Hi Dani, glad you had a good weekend away.Sounds like you had a lot of fun!

Michael Flatley - just the thought makes my skin crawl. I think my nightmare in hell would be him dancing followed by one of those concerts by the people who hit trash cans and other stuff with brooms and other random objects to make a "song."
And of course followed by "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
These 3 would be on an unending cycle.
