Re: Oh dear god

  • God, Amoro!  Obviously her FMIL is being vindictive to her poor friends!  She's just wants to deny them the joy of buying cheap stuff from the registry!  Now they can't give her anything!

  • I usually don't post on links like this........but are you fluffin kidding me?  That girl is pretty ridiculous.
  • Almost every time I've gone on a registry, there's been nothing left but gifts out of my price range.  I give money or a gift card.  I guess I've been doin' it wrong this whole time.  I should have been criticizing and badmouthing the other guests for having the nerve to get to the registry first.  Those bastards.

  • Yeah, I really hate it when people buy me presents.  That I picked out myself.

  • My eyes just about popped out of my head when I read it and new you ladies would enjoy!
  •  Unbelievable, I guess this bridezilla never her the saying "never look a gift horse in the mouth"
  • Oh no!!  Not all the cheap things!!  Why don't you get me the more expensive gifts!!  Wah!!

    She sounds lovely.

  • I don't understand why the FMIL would buy so many things. But that's a different issue.

I've only bought off a registry twice, and the second time all that was left were expensive things. So I gave them money. This girl is making way too big a deal out of it.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Oh dear god : :snort: Don't go giving people any ideas! Instead of wishing wells, money trees and all that other crap, we'll start seeing people asking how they can get a gift horse! Although a horse shaped piggy bank would be kinda cute if it wasn't used at a wedding.

I had a piggy bank shaped like a brontosaurus that played "it's a small world" when I was a kid.

Wow. Aren't you people just fabulously nice human beings.

And yes, I am such a bridezilla. Wah wah wah. Everybody look at what a bitchy bride I am being. I think one pp, at most two, qualifies at non-bitchy.  Hypocrites.
