Almost every time I've gone on a registry, there's been nothing left but gifts out of my price range.  I give money or a gift card.  I guess I've been doin' it wrong this whole time.  I should have been criticizing and badmouthing the other guests for having the nerve to get to the registry first.  Those bastards.

I don't understand why the FMIL would buy so many things. But that's a different issue.

I've only bought off a registry twice, and the second time all that was left were expensive things. So I gave them money. This girl is making way too big a deal out of it.
