Ring Bearer "Pillow"

Does anyone know of or have seen an alternate option besides a pillow that the ring bearer has carried down the aisle? We are trying to think of something clever for this part of the ceremony. Thanks!

At the last few weddings I've attended, the RBs didn't actually carry the wedding rings on the pillow. They used a fake set tied to the pillow just to avoid any chance of losing the wedding rings. So if your RB isn't going to actually carry the rings, I've seen RBs carry a Hear Comes The Bride sign just before the Bride walks down the aisle.

Trix - I agree completely about the sign, just throwing the idea out there.

good to know we feel the same way, valley  =)
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

we are having my fi gm's son as our ring bearer and his two little girls as flower girls along with my niece. i think we will just put the rings in his pocket and have him 'escort' my fi oldest daughter down the aisle since the flower girls are carrying small bouquets rather than baskets of petals.

Ok so we opted to use my FI grandfathers old bible.  We are going to tie a ribbon around it to hold the rings on.  This way it inculdes family history.  After the wedding we will display it on the sign in table.  I am also putting one of his grandmothers broaches on ribbon on my boquet. My sister recently got married and she didn't want a pillow either so she had her ring bearer go shopping with his mom and pick out what he wanted to carry the rings in.  He found a coin purse that he loved (had a motorcycle on it) and he put the rings in there.

I love those little dishes on etsy.  I made a ring book.  PIB.

We are using a football.  The rings will be inside.  I'm not a fan of a little boy holding a cute pillow....

We used a pewter jewelry box lined with velvet.  Worked great and doubles as a bedside place to stick my rings now.

i like the Bible idea. Martha Stewart weddings just had a thing about this-a ring plate. so it's similar to the bowl. love all the idea's though! it's giving me ideas for my ring bearer!
