Hi Sun! I feel like I haven't seen you around here in ages!

I'm working on homework (story of my life lately) and am annoyed with FI from 8 hours away. He's in TX with his brother, and they met up with someone that they play WoW with, which is cool. Except they both drank too much and are going to stay at this guy's house instead of the hotel where they were supposed to be staying. They've never met this guy IRL before tonight...I texted him and told him not to get turned into a skin suit. Those 8 hrs in the car on the way back tomorrow should be fun with a hangover

Hiya! I am hardly around these days; finishing my PhD, wrapping up my current job and applying for new ones is sucking the life out of me! Two interviews tomorrow, eek! 

 

Hopefully your FI has made a decent character assessment of this guy prior to getting drunk with him, so that his decision to stay there won't be a bad one!

Good luck on your interviews! What types of jobs are they?

All research positions. I had an interview last week for a job that I'm fairly sure I am going to get an offer on when the criminal history check is done, but I don't particularly want that one- I'm hopeful that I can do well tomorrow and get either of the two I'm interviewing for then. The first is with a uni (which would be my first pick if I were lucky enough to choose!) and the second with the government health organisation I'm with now. Each has advantages and disadvantages, but fingers crossed I do ok tomorrow! I am so sick of being anxious about these interviews! 

 

How is everything going for you?
