Registry on website question

I'm trying to figure out how to word the 'registry' section of my website. Of course, I will not mention registries on my invites, but I am going to have a see www.abcde.com for more information on an insert.

How did you phrase your registry section? Did you simply put your registry/registries and leave it at that? I was thinking of writing something to the effect of "Never expected, but appreciated."

Re: Registry on website question

  • Our says "Click the images below to be directed to our registries."
    Then there are BB&B and Target logos that are links to those stores' registry pages.

    I just put a registries tab on my website and then linked them.

    I think wording like "your presence is your presents" and the like almost come off as too defensive and totally transparent.  I think simplicity is the best way, and don't worry, it won't come off as rude.  It's not like it's weird for couples to register.  And if it does offend some guests, they can see that the tab is labeled "Registry  Information" or whatever, and then make the decision for themselves whether or not to click on it.

    [QUOTE]My registry page literally just has the links to my registry sites. I don't think words are really necessary.

  • FAQs.
    * What is the weather typically like at that time of year?
    * How many days should we plan to be in the area?
    * Where are you registered?

  • Here is what we used:

    "The best present you can give us is your presence. Those who have helped out with our wedding should definitely consider their services to be their wedding present to us. At the same time, we’ve had enough requests for registry information that we have set some up. Please feel free to disregard if these aren’t the droids you are looking for."
