So I am not a creative person at all....I'm getting married in 2 weeks and I can't think of anything to do for when we exit the church. Everyone does bubbles now and I was trying to think of an alternative. Our church won't allow us to throw anything or have anything that lights on fire (ex: sparklers) so does anyone have any other ideas?? I saw one girls that had ribbon wands and I thought they looked really cute in pics but my FI thinks its kinda a stupid idea, lol Any suggestions??

We used bubbles. But a lot of ladies around here think that clapping works just fine as well.

yea at this point I think clapping will work just fine I just wanted to see if anyone had scene/used any other creative ideas that I couldn't come up with. Thanks

Where are you going after the ceremony? Maybe if you are having a reception elsewhere, you could do sparklers or something else there?

We are skipping the big church exit and saving it for the end of the reception.

I would LOVE to have sparklers!! But we aren't really doing an exit from our reception (we are big dancers so I'm sure we will both be the last people off the dance floor I liked the idea of throwing rose petals too and I even asked the Church if we cleaned them up could we do it, and they said no

We got silver bells we're using and attaching a cute little poem onto them. We are also having them at the reception so instead of clinking glasses guests can ring the bells. The poem explains that but in a cute way that doesn't sound like directions

I like the bell idea!  Or get everyone Vuvuzuelas....that would be awesome!

But in all honestly, from weddings I've gone to where they give you little bells or bubbles, they just end up getting tossed out immediately.  But it's your wedding ;-)
