Engagement/Shower Restaurants

Does anyone have any suggestions as to very reasonably priced restaurants for a shower/engagement dinner? We're looking to have about 40 people but are on a very strict budget.

I know someone who had an engagement party dinner at Gargiulo's for about 50 people. They are reasonable and the food is really good. the website is www.gargiulos.com They are located in Coney Island Brooklyn

There is another place that begins with a G but I can't think of the name. It is located in Long Island City. I've heard many good things about them. If I remember the name I will post it for you. Good luck and congrats!
