put your brags here

Since nobody has much of anything for FFF, and several admitted that they are in a pretty good mood, put your brags here. I'll start.

Husband got another promotion and another raise! The restaurant GM is VERY impressed with the job he's doing, and even though he's not making as much per hour as he was in the last job, his income is still more because he's working more hours. Woot!

[QUOTE]Thanks, Nebb! You've definitely helped my motivation! It is kind of a pain, but like...even before we go out for dinner, I'll look everything up on the website and know what I'm having before I go, and stick to it.

Thanks :) That makes me feel nice. It is a pain to do that but its so worth it in the end, just to be able to make informed decisions.

mery, I have a taylor scale, it has presets so you can enter your age, fitness level and height and then it calculates your weight, fat %, muscle % and hydration %. Its digital and super awesome, I got it on sale at costco a few months ago.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: put your brags here : That is seriously awesome. And a GREAT idea.  I used to be more positive and happy and now I'm more negative and anxious, and Robert helps me to be more positive and happy, but I think your approach is an even better step.

Andy was always very helpful that too but really the solution had to come from me.  Good luck!  It really works!

  • Our photog put up our E-pictures and compared to the other couple he posted, I think ours totally looks better.
Although, they did take theirs in the middle of winter and we in the fall, so the colors in the background kick butt.

  • Noodle is getting a raise and 12% profit sharing.  We are both over the moon about it.

I am actually going to be able to make 40 pounds lost in time for my first fitting if my weight loss continues on the track it's on now.

  • Goofy pic of Chloe's hair from the other night. It's a simple cut, but I took almost 5" off, so it was a big change.

  • Holy crap, we're all doing good with getting healthier!  Awesomeness!  I made it through 2 weeks of bootcamp class, and I am truly amazed at how far I can push myself.  I never thought I could do some of the things I made myself do.  I'll get myself in shape for the wedding afterall!

Also, I'll brag about how good we are being with saving this year.  We've never had as much money in our bank as we do now for as long as we have.  It feels so good to just pay every bill the day it comes in, rather than having to wait until the next paycheck.
  • I'ver lost 60 pounds since April 2008.

Teeny brag, but I haven't drank any soda in 8 days.  This is big for me since I am normally crazy dependant on Diet Coke.   I feel fantastic.  I have a feeling if I tasted it right now it would be disgusting.

  • East, that's awesome! Have you continuously lost over the years, or are you maintaining?

Wow, congrats on everyone's accomplishments, I love that everyone is so motivated!

I am proud that I was able to bite my tongue last night when FSIL complained about some of my wedding choices, and for retaining a rather large estate client this morning, only my second since moving to Washington state.

It's been a pretty continuous loss.   I did it really, reaaally slowy.  But I think that is better long term for keeping it off.   Sometimes it has stalled out for a month or two when I've gotten a little slackery, but its been a consistent downward trend.   I think I'm about done now.  I've moved into just "toning" as opposed to "dropping"  :)

Jesus east, 60lbs?! Thats awesome. Im losing slow as well, i hear that youre more likely to keep it off if you do it that way. You looked fantastic in the pic you posted in the BM dress so it looks like its paid off!
  • Wow! I'm impressed and inspried by everyone's accomplishments!

Here's my brag: I played soccer yesterday (lunchtime pick-up game) for the first time since before the holidays and not only did I play well, I didn't immediately injure my hamstring again. I feel SO much better when I get out in the sunshine and run around in the grass with a bunch of awesome people and it always knocks my anxiety back down to acceptable levels for the rest of the day.

  • That's awesome, East. I yearn for the day when toning it what I'm after. Right now, I just wanna stop jiggling. ;)
