*chirp... chirp*

Anyone still up at this ungodly hour. I cant sleep and my husband is breathing too loud. I just got up and had a message with horrible news in it on  my FB from my best friend and now im all wired and want to go kick some ass.

Seriously though, anyone up?

Re: *chirp... chirp*

  • Sure am! Sleep is over-rated!
  • Hey dear! What happened with your friend? I hope that all is ok...

I'm here- we only got home from our friend's house a little while ago. Feeling rather tired and lazy now!

  • Her asshole boyfriend (who shes been on/off with for over 2 years now. On for the past year and a bit this time around), JUST broke up with her. Im so angry I want to drive over to his apartment and hit him.
  • Oh... even though I'm sure she's better off without someone like that, his timing is terrible.

What have you got planned for today? I am presuming it is your Saturday morning now?

(oh, wait, I just checked the time on the posts and I guess that it's actually more like your evening and your plans probably involve going back to sleep!)

  • Its 2:45 AM where I am at right now, I am tired but I dont want to lie tossing and turning in bed so I am staying up for a bit reading. I have been sleeping in too late, not having to work, and its screwing with my sleep habits. I have my alarm set to wake up early tomorrow to try to fix it.

I have plans to make cookies with her in the afternoon though, I think shes more angry than upset. Her parents didnt like him, and didnt trust him, and she has had a strained relationship with them for the past year because of her relationship with him and it was for nothing. They said he was going to do it to her again, and she didnt think he would and he did.

I guess its Saturday afternoon/evening there? I never know what time it is there!
  • Im gonna try sleeping again, my husband is still breathing loud but maybe if I angle my arm over my ears it will drown it out...

    Gnight!
  • Well, you obviously aren't too clueless on the time difference- it's almost 6 pm, saturday afternoon.

Going over to spend some time with her sounds like a good idea. At the end of the day, it seems like this guy was obviously not the right one for her- hopefully her parents are supportive of her through this and they can put it behind them.

What time are you planning to wake up? We were up somewhat late for us (maybe 12ish, I think) and woke up at 6 as it was too hot in the guest room at our friend's house... Now I write it though, the fact that we had six hours sleep doesn't actually seem to justify how tired I am!
