Custom Dressmaker

I am looking to have my wedding dress custom made. I don't want to spend too much over $1000. Does anyone have any recommendations of dressmakers that they know are reliable and talented? Any recommedations would be great!

    My seamstress does great work on bridal stuff and I know she does boleros and designer costumes for plays, so seeing as how she already does bridal work, I'd think she could do a dress as well (though not sure and what the budget would be).  Susan Rudkin - her company/business is called The Wedding Dresser.  If you can't find it on a google search, feel free to PM me and I'll provide you her info.  GL.

    Also check out thecustomdresses.com - someone on another board just got her dress and her bridesmaids and loved how things came out.  I wish I knew about it sooner, I'd have gambled and saved hundreds.
