The Park on 10th Ave near Chelsea

My venue got destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in Long Beach :( Our original idea was to do a city wedding but some of the places we looked at were just too much money. We did look at The Park and was wondering if anyone got married there or heard of any reviews of The Park. It looks real pretty there and we can hopefully still have our city wedding :)

    I went to a graduation dinner there last year and had an awful experience. During dinner we saw not one, not two, but THREE roaches running around the dining room, including under our table! The bus boy even squashed one with his shoe right behind me. We brought it to the managers attention and his reply was that it had rained earlier that day and thats why the roaches came inside...not even an apology. Hopefully things have changed but I would be skeptical. Sorry :(
