Hello ladies! I'm back and I'm married! The day was absolutely perfect. We had an outdoor ceremony, and the weather forecast called for rain all afternoon, and not one single drop ever fell. I'll have a full recap in my blog over the next couple of days. I'll definitely have to tell you all about our cake disaster. Haha, it was awful, but everything worked out. But I wanted to show you all some non-pro pictures, and we should have a few teasers up tomorrow!

Thank you ladies!! We were so blessed with our cake. DH is a baker, and we attempted to make our own. We were up until 4am on the day of the wedding working on it, and we just couldn't get it the way we liked. So after only 3 hours of sleep, DH went into his work on the morning of the wedding, and asked if we could get 100 cupcakes iced for us instead. They said that no matter what that they would get it done. Well then DH's boss/owner of the bakery called him asking about what happened with our original cake. DH explained that we had made our own and it was a disaster. So after a few minutes, the owner said that they couldn't do 100 cupcakes, which upset DH, but then he immediately said, "You need a wedding cake, and we will get it done for you." They baked us a free wedding cake from start to finish in about 4 hours. It was absolutely perfect. I was so happy.

Wow, that's awesome about the cake!  I mean, not awesome that yours didn't turn out, but awesome that they did it for you guys.  I bet it was even more delicious knowing the disaster that almost was!

Thank you! We got married in Muncie. I checked the weather at Noon, and we got married at 5:30pm, and the radar showed rain all over until 6pm or so. And it never happened! It never rained until about 9pm.
